A Master of Science thesis in titled
“ Control System Design for DC Brushless Motor Based on Sensors Reduction”
was defended successfully by the student “Qaad Muhsin Ali” on 16 Dec. 2019 in Dijla conference room in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The defense committee consisted from Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Thiab Humod, Chairman, Ammar Hussain Mutlaq, Member , Oday A Ahmed, Member, Mohammed Moanes Ezzaldean, Supervisor.
The thesis proposed a control system design for dc brushless motor based on single current sensors in the DC side. The proposed control system consisted from SMC speed controller, which is robust and precise and has the ability to reduce the Deedbeat prediction controller variables change. Thus, the controller can be considered as a digital controller with fast response and high precision and can be compatible with the microprocessor.
